The Russian Music Union, with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, is holding the International Award for the best Audio Recording of works of Russian Academic Music "Pure Sound".
"Pure Sound" is the first ever award for the best audio recording of Russian academic music. The project is based on the idea of perfectly capturing and preserving the masterpieces of Russian music in its live performance interpretation. The project is aimed at the development of the Russian school of composition and the recording industry, the promotion of Russian musical culture at the international level.
The first two award ceremonies were held in 2019 and 2021. Among the laureates of the award are leading Russian and European labels, famous groups of performers and soloists, famous producers and sound engineers. In 2025, the award will be presented for the third time.
